Opening up and pushing in at East 47th Place

“2014 / L.A. Firefighters were dispatched to the 200 block of East 47th Place reported a single story, single family dwelling with heavy smoke showing. Firefighters forced entry through iron bars on the doors and windows and attacked the fire with interior hose-lines. Firefighters located a missing elderly women and quickly transported her via paramedics to a local area hospital where she was pronounced. A live-in caregiver managed to escape the fire. The fire was knocked down in twenty minutes. The cause of the deadly late night blaze was reported to be a result of a floor heater. -MNR-“
